At the beginning of December 1982 eight pairs marched into the venue Zürich Saalsporthalle for the 1^st edition of the Swiss Cup Zürich. During its' first years the event mainly was a must-see for gymnastics specialists. Throughout the years the Swiss Cup Zürich has been developed into an exciting team competition with an easy-to-understand format and trough that became a top event which is known on the international level and which is also interesting for the general public. After having moved to a larger venue, the Hallenstadion Zürich, the competition has become a major event in the annual calendar of gymnastics events. Don't forget to visit the Hall of fame of the Swiss Cup Zürich!

In 2025, we will take a break from the Swiss Cup, but we are already looking forward to the 42nd edition in 2026.
